  • Assist in Security Assessments: Support in planning, executing, and documenting penetration tests and vulnerability assessments for web, mobile applications, embedded systems, and networks under guidance.
  • Secure Code Review Assistance: Contribute to secure code reviews by running automated tools and learning manual review practices.
  • Embedded & IoT Security Exposure: Gain hands-on experience with firmware analysis, hardware interface testing, and threat modeling under supervision.
  • Reverse Engineering & Binary Analysis: Learn how to use static/dynamic analysis tools and assist in reviewing binaries and firmware for security issues.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Draft initial findings, contribute to technical documentation, and help prepare security reports.
  • Knowledge Development: Continuously learn penetration testing and secure development methodologies, contributing to the team's knowledge base.

  • Education: Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Experience and Knowledge: At least 1 years of hands-on penetration testing and security experience gained through internships, student jobs, CTFs, bug bounty programs, labs, or comparable projects.
  • Qualifications: Familiarity with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, and initial exposure to frameworks like Metasploit or fuzzing tools. Basic proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) and some secure coding knowledge in languages like Java, C/C++, or JavaScript. Nice to Have: Initial research contributions, CTF wins, security labs, bug bounty submissions, or related security certifications.
  • Personality and Working Practice: Analytical, curious, detail-oriented, proactive learner, able to work independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively with the security team.
  • Languages: Fluent in English; German skills are a plus.
