We are looking for a meticulous and highly organized Data Room Administrator to join our M&A team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing virtual data rooms (VDRs) to facilitate seamless M&A transactions, ensuring the secure handling and distribution of sensitive information. This is a key position requiring technical proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- VDR Setup and Management: Establish and configure virtual data rooms, ensuring secure and efficient operation throughout the M&A process.
- Document Organization: Upload, categorize, and maintain transaction documents, ensuring they are easily accessible and properly managed.
- User Access Control: Manage access permissions for internal and external stakeholders, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
- Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with security protocols and regulatory requirements to protect sensitive data.
- Activity Reporting: Generate detailed reports on data room usage, document access, and user engagement to support transaction transparency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including legal, financial, and operational experts to ensure smooth transaction workflows.
- Issue Resolution: Quickly identify and resolve any technical or operational issues related to the data room to avoid disruptions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in managing VDRs, preferably within the M&A sector or financial services.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in VDR platforms like Intralinks, Datasite, or others; strong understanding of document management systems and cybersecurity best practices.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy in document management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
