We are currently seeking a Director Production (f/m/d) to join our team as soon as possible, based in Ulm, Oberkochen, or Taufkirchen.

SCAFSE SpA is a German-Algerian joint venture between the Algerian state and the German technology partners Rohde & Schwarz, HENSOLDT Optronics, and HENSOLDT Sensors, who collectively hold a 49% stake in the company through DEGfA.
SCAFSE SpA manufactures systems for border security and the protection of critical infrastructure, based on sensors and software delivered from Germany.
- Responsibility for managing the value-added processes including planning, control and continuous improvement of production, material requirements, logistics, testing and delivery in the required quality
- Definition, implementation and advancement of stable processes, including (software-) tools for planning, control and communication
- Responsible for operational capability, optimization and further advancement of SCAFSE's technical equipment with operating resources, test equipment and infrastructure in the fields of production, logistics and repairs
- Responsible for leadership, planning, training and improving the technical skills of personnel
- Clarification of all technical issues related to SCAFSE's products and their integration and operation
- Planning and further advancement of transfer of technology and production from the German industrial partners to SCAFSE
- Participation in the definition of technical specifications and performance requirements in the bidding phase of new projects
- Preparing and ensuring readiness for the relocation of production and logistics to the new building
To accomplish the above, you will work closely with & be strongly supported by the General Director and Quality Director on site, as well as experts from both German partner companies, notably, Project Managers and Customer Services.
- Degree in mechanical or electronical engineering or equivalent
- Extensive professional experience in management and reorganization of production processes, supply chain and logistics management as well as project management
- Operational expertise and hands-on mentality to solve day-to-day challenges
- Strong intercultural competence and international experience to adapt to a complex environment
- Willingness to spend significant time at SCAFSE
- Social and communications skills, including fluency in German and English, French desirable
