Job Summary
In this role, you will act as a trusted HR senior advisor and partner to an assigned management team of a complex production site of over 1,100 employees. Lead and develop a highly qualified HR team. Collaborate and partner with the appropriate HR leaders – locally and globally – to provide support to managers and employees within the defined HR strategy and principles. You are responsible and accountable (liaising as necessary with teams such as Compensation, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, etc.) for onboarding and offboarding, legal/employee relations, organizational and talent development, culture, engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits. Demonstrate leadership and communication skills to reach organizational agreements, results and set priorities. Continuously identify and implement effective and efficient HR solutions. Liaise between employees and the company to provide a world class workplace.


  • Member of the local site leadership team.
  • Provide HR leadership and direction for the site within your scope of responsibility.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to direct reports.
  • Develop organizational objectives and facilitate goal creation for broader functions.
  • Work with the senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution plans.
  • Guide the talent identification and development processes.
  • Oversee employee performances and communicate goal results.
  • Use in-depth expertise and experience to provide HR support for various HR initiatives: performance and talent management, change management, workforce planning, leadership and employee development, onboarding and offboarding, compensation planning and benefits administration.
  • Act as a trusted senior advisor to provide advice, clarification and follow-up on policies, procedures, benefits and compensation-related items for employees, managers and global HR partners. Interpret and administer work agreements, HR policies, procedures, guidelines and programs, always ensuring alignment with global West partners in a consistent manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR or related field required
  • Master's Degree in Business, HR or related field preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources and role of HR generalist and/or HR manager required
  • Deep experience and knowledge of multiple HR disciplines
  • Good knowledge in German labor law and work council relationships
  • Experience with HR business systems
