Development Engineer (m/f/d) Corrosion Protection

In your role as a Development Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of corrosion protection, you will contribute to expanding our existing product portfolio by developing and optimizing new products in the field of corrosion-resistant coatings and zinc flake coatings and delivering them to our international customers. Thanks to your technical expertise, you will be able to plan and execute your tasks independently and in a structured manner.
Your responsibilities
- Development and implementation of new coating systems and processes
- Testing, qualification, and evaluation of new products and processes, as well as their practical implementation
- Identification of optimization potentials in existing products and conducting and tracking new developments
- Creation of project plans in the R&D area
- Accompanying field tests at customers
- Contact person and advisor for specific technical enquiries
- Company presentation at trade fairs and conferences
- Creation, maintenance, and management of documentation and reports
- Completed university studies (M. A.) in chemistry, chemical engineering or surface technology
- Professional experience in electroplating or paint system technology, especially in the area of corrosion protection
- Profound expertise in inorganic, organic, and technical chemistry as well as in electroplating or paint systems
- Analytical and innovative thinking, creativity in product development, structured and methodical working style, as well as flexibility, resilience
- Joy in collaboration with other teams locally and internationally
- Very good English skills in both spoken and written form, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office
