Job Description

  • Test Design: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, automated test sequences, and test scripts for control systems

  • Software Testing: Perform functional and performance testing on control system software

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external software engineers as well as project managers

  • Issue Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis of identified issues and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution

  • Code Review: Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective

  • Project Management: Take ownership of test projects, including time and cost planning

  • Documentation: Provide clear and concise test reports and documentation


  • Education: Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

  • Certification: Valid ISTQB Foundation Level certification as a minimum requirement

  • Experience: Proven track record in software testing or quality assurance, ideally with exposure to control or embedded systems

  • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, ASP.NET, Vue.js, Python, or JavaScript

  • Testing Knowledge: Strong understanding of testing methodologies and processes across all phases of the software lifecycle

  • Industry Insight: Familiarity with refrigeration systems or the HVAC industry is considered a plus

  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Languages: Fluent English skills (C1/C2) and solid German proficiency (B2) for effective communication
