Join ESO as a Cybersecurity Specialist and take on a critical role in identity and access management (IAM), privileged access management (PAM) and cybersecurity asset management (CSAM).

In this role, you will design and implement cybersecurity processes to enforce internal policies. Therefore, you will setup a reliable inventory of digital assets (CSAM) and integrate asset data with security tools for actionable insights such as patch management. To support this further, you will enhance solutions for managing user identities, access rights, and privileged accounts, while conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with policies. Additionally, you will support the seamless integration of on-premises and cloud applications with centralized IAM and PAM solutions, embedding zero trust principles like segmentation and continuous authentication.
Your role will involve close collaboration with cybersecurity experts and IT specialists within the department. You will partner with stakeholders throughout the organization. Your efforts will reinforce the organization's commitment to secure, efficient, and innovative IT operations.

Key Competences and Experience
Essential:
- 3 years or more of relevant working experience
- Proven experience in at least one of the following areas IAM, PAM or CSAM
- Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID as IAM solution
- Being able to translate organisational requirements into technical solutions
- Scripting skills to automate repeating tasks
- Ability to analyse and understand problems and to solve them
- Keeping up-to-date with latest developments in IAM, PAM or CSAM
- Strong communications and collaboration skills for working in cross-site and cross-functional teams
- Independent, proactive, structured and results-oriented way of working
Desirable:
- Experience with hybrid on-prem and cloud environments
- Experience in a multicultural environment
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or equivalent). A cybersecurity related certification will be considered a strong asset. An ITIL certification would be useful.
Language Skills:
A very good command of English both oral and written is essential. A good command of German and/or working knowledge of Spanish would be an asset.
Reports to:
You will report to the Head of the IT Project and Security Group of the Information Technology Department within the Directorate of Engineering.

The contract is for a fixed term duration of three years and is subject to successful completion of the probation period. Duty Station:
Garching near Munich, Germany with occasional duty trips to all ESO sites in Chile as required.
