The newly established strategic business unit ZEISS Photonics & Optics combines strong consumer products with high-end technologies.
At ZEISS Cinematography, we are developing the next generation of digital tools for film and television productions. Our focus is on creating intelligent software solutions that support cinematographers, directors, and VFX artists in their work—real-time, on set, and in post-production.

Develop and define compelling product roadmaps and positioning aligned with target audiences like VFX artists and cinematographers, while maintaining a strong storytelling vision

Plan, execute, and coordinate product launch activities, collaborating with marketing teams to manage campaigns and create marketing deliverables such as website content, imagery, sales enablements, and user support materials

Ensure product-related data is accessible and accurate, maintain regulatory compliance information, and support build management by planning and tracking beta tests and prototypes

Take ownership of product lifecycle management strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage product lines from introduction to end-of-life

Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and make data-driven recommendations for product updates, enhancements, and market expansion, while working with sales teams for product support

Ensure compliance with industry standards, identify product improvements, and maintain product-related assets and documentation throughout the lifecycle
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business economics, marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Proficient in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus
- Several years of experience in product management, product marketing, or related roles, with a successful track record, preferably in software products
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with proficiency in Agile development methods and marketing tools
- Deep understanding of cinematography, video editing, visual effects related product, target audience and market landscape; knowledge in the field of optics as a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of leading cross-functional teams and influencing without formal authority
