With a fleet of 287 modern container ships and a Vessel Capacity 2.2 million TEU, as well as a Container Capacity 3.2 million TEU including one of the world's largest and most modern reefer container fleets, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world's leading liner shipping companies. In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has stakes in 20 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa. The roughly 2.600 employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment deal with terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.
- Technical leadership and support of the team, as well as allocation of work and guarantee of smooth processes in the team
- Monitoring Cost Development, as well as recognizing and reporting on trends to management
- Identifying cost drivers
- Controlling, reviewing and developing cost saving measures
- Forecast and budget planning of operational costs
- Preparation of cost analyses, forecast and budget planning
- Support management with regular evaluations
- Participation in project groups
- Analyzing and improving processes to increase performance
- Provide trainings for new processes to onboard the team into new tools and procedures
- Maintain and develop financial reporting for cost control and cost development
- Support Controlling Department with month end procedures regarding cost development
- Develop and maintain presentations for stakeholders of ongoing projects and current business developments
- Monitor BOT performances and support CoE while finding solutions for possible BOT issues or improvements
- Create and maintain reporting over BOT performance
- Taking over the BOT Manager role of two BOTs in production and supporting CoE during the development of new automation solutions for the invoice verification process
- Several years of professional experience in the shipping industry
- Good knowledge of the maritime industry
- Leadership skills and experience and the ability to guide and motivate team members in a positive working atmosphere
- Very good analytical skills, combined with a process-oriented way of thinking
- Strong management skills, especially in organization and planning
- Confident appearance as well as independent communication with internal and external partners
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Experienced in the process of transformation and digitalization of invoice processing preferred
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of FIS, SAP and QlikSense
- Knowledge of Alteryx preferred
- Quick learner
- General IT Skills for ad hoc IT support for the team
