At our location in Wedel near Hamburg, we are looking for a Global Medical Advisor (all genders) Rheumatology.
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Global Medical Advisor to join our Global Medical Affairs team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of medical strategies in the field of rheumatology. You will act as a key medical expert, supporting internal and external stakeholders with scientific insights and ensuring the medical accuracy and integrity of all communications and activities.
Your tasks
- Contribute to the development and implementation of medical strategies and tactical plans for assigned focus areas
- Initiate and execute tactical measures in alignment with the medical strategy
- Build and maintain in-depth expertise in designated therapeutic areas
- Conduct product-related medical training for internal stakeholders
- Establish and nurture relationships with external experts and key opinion leaders
- Process medical requests
- Conduct medical evaluations of new product opportunities and provide evidence-based recommendations in close cooperation with Business & Portfolio Development
- Manage medical communications with respect to legal and compliance requirements
- Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy or life sciences preferred; doctorate (PhD, MD, PharmD) is of advantage
- Experience in medical affairs or a related scientific role within the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Communication and collaboration expertise
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment
