For our Corporate Development at our Hamburg headquarters, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager M&A (m/f/d) who shares the mindset that defines all our people: the ambition to go beyond expectations, challenge the status quo and actively shape the future of a global logistics leader.
- Oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of mergers and acquisitions projects, from initial due diligence to post-merger integration
- Conduct thorough due diligence to assess the financial, operational and strategic fit of potential acquisition targets
- Develop and implement comprehensive integration plans to ensure smooth transitions and achieve synergies
- Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment and successful project execution
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with M&A activities
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress and outcomes of M&A projects
- Support and work on strategic initiatives to drive global expansion
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline; Master's degree or MBA highly desirable
- Long-standing hands-on experience in project management, with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions in an international context
- Solid understanding of financial modeling and valuation methodologies
- Proficiency in project management tools and software; PMP or equivalent certification beneficial
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages advantageous
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and multicultural teams
- Strong analytical mindset and structured approach to problem-solving
