With a fleet of 308 modern container ships and a Vessel Capacity of 2.4 million TEU, as well as a Container Capacity of 3.7 million TEU including one of the world's largest and most modern reefer container fleets, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world's leading liner shipping companies. A total of 135 liner services worldwide ensure fast and reliable connections between more than 600 ports across the world. In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has stakes in 21 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa. The employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment deal with terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.- Establish and maintain efficient processes and tools for planning, analyzing and reporting IT expenditure at a global level
- Budget and forecast preparation for worldwide IT cost/services, incl. coordination within the departments
- Design of associated financial processes and governance model
- Preparing sound financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures, taking into account the current economic situation
- Achieving budget targets through effective planning, analysis and implementation of corrective actions
- Increasing efficiency through the continuous development of existing processes
- Stakeholder management for functional and hierarchical levels in IT
- Completed bachelor's degree in economics or a related subject area
- Several years of expertise in IT controlling in an international environment - ideally also in setting up effective IT controlling
- Experience in financial management functions, especially with large, globally distributed teams in a complex matrix organization
- Fluent in English and German for effective communication in an international working environment
- Comprehensive understanding of the holistic structure of IT service management and the related technological architecture
- Proven experience and knowledge in the design and successful implementation of strategic IT projects
- Solid knowledge and experience in SAP FiCo, for efficient processing of complex financial data
- Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers and IT
- Good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
