Securing energy – now and for the future.
- Preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB as well as the reporting packages in accordance with IFRS for Group companies, especially Gas sales entities
- Coordinate accounting issues and processes independently with the respective responsible units and interfaces
- Independent analysis of complex issues from an accounting perspective
- evelopment of booking concepts for mapping current business transactions
- Responsibility for Accounting-relevant optimization and harmonization projects (e.g., S4 HANA)
- Determination and recording of accruals, deferrals and value adjustments
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business Administration or similar
- Experienced Senior Accountant, with longterm experience post qualification, ideally in energy sector.
- Strong understanding of German GAAP as well as IFRS
- Hands-on experience working with complex accounting topics and corresponding process landscape.
- Experience of working with vast amounts of data, and financial reporting thereon.
- Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented attitude for complex issues.
- High motivation as proactive individual and team player.
- Diligent and dependable, approaching work with an attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills and strong communication skills.
- Fluent in German and ideally English.
