  • Support the selection of new or alternative suppliers (Nutrition, Generics, Packaging) for I&D, Life-Cycle-Management, and Tech-transfer projects globally within TechOps & Quality, applying sustainability criteria such as environmental and social performance.
  • Define and oversee supplier sustainability development programs across complex, multi-regional supply chains subject to diverse regulations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to advance shared sustainability objectives.
  • Collect supplier sustainability data to support tender processes, reporting requirements, authority inquiries, and sourcing strategies.
  • Evaluate the sustainability performance of strategic suppliers, including defining relevant KPIs.
  • Conduct sustainability audits (environmental and social) at supplier sites.
  • Identify and monitor key global and EU sustainability topics, trends, and regulatory requirements.

  • Academic degree in Natural or Technical Sciences (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Sustainability Management, Engineering, Energy Management).
  • At least 3 years of professional experience, ideally in consulting, auditing, or a similar industry function.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain sustainability, including carbon emissions, labor rights, and ethical sourcing.
  • Proficiency in English and German (written & spoken); additional language skills are an asset.
  • Expertise in analyzing and reporting sustainability KPIs such as CO2 emissions, water usage, and supplier compliance.
  • Experience with digital sustainability tools (e.g., Ecovadis) and regulatory frameworks (ISO 14001, GRI, SDGs, CSRD, EUDR, PPWR, CBAM, etc.).
  • Exceptional teamwork spirit, effective stakeholder engagement skills, and willingness to travel for sustainability audits.
