Customer interaction

  • Translate customer requirements into the system architecture of the device
  • Align cross domain technical solutions among customer, domain responsible and technology partners
  • Coordinate high-level features, major components and technical solution selections
  • Elicit and align system requirements with the customer
  • Define and present the technical system solution(s) to stakeholders (customer, domain responsible, product owner)

Your future tasks

  • Make sure that the chosen technical solutions provide the desired hardware resources with the functional software, which can achieve the expected KPI, security and system integrity level
  • Periodic review, optimization of development process and tooling, to meet design demands and level of automation
  • Specify integration into ECU network context
  • Specify system components and related requirements with domain responsible
    Design ECU system architecture: logical, physical, and functional
  • Estimate system resources and ensure availability using benchmarks
  • Select key hardware, mechanical, and software components with domain responsible
  • Deploy measurement frameworks and monitor system performance
  • Drive system safety, stability, degradation, failure mode analysis and security strategies

Your skills & requirements:

  • You have a degree in software engineering / computer science or similar (mathematics, physics, etc.) and 3+ years of experience with selection and qualification of automotive semiconductor components as well as system or software designs in embedded automotive systems
  • You have experience with automotive diagnostics (e.g. DoIP, ODX / OTX, UDS, DLT etc.) and with FME(D)A, TARA and system degradation strategies
  • You have experience with Linux / QNX / Integrity / AUTOSAR / Adaptive AUTOSAR / Zephyr is an advantage. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, CVS, SVN, etc.) is required
  • You have experience in requirements engineering and in using tools such as DOORS, Confluence, etc.. Experience with aSPICE SYS.3 for system design and SWE.2 for software design is also important for the job
  • You have practical experience in modeling system architectures using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw according to sysML v1/v2, and Model-Based System Engineering
  • Knowledge of evolving automotive E/E architectures such as domain / zone topology and of various automotive network architectures (e.g., LIN, CAN, UART, A2B, Ethernet, I2C, I2S, IPC interfaces, etc.) are required
  • You have knowledge of automotive standards such as ISO-26262, ISO/SAE 21434, and IATF 16949 processes
  • You are familiar with Linux/QNX/Integrity/AUTOSAR/Adaptive AUTOSAR/Zephyr
  • You have experience in agile development process (SCRUM, SAFE)
