The Business Unit Europe Africa is one of the largest of TK Elevator's six Business Units. Its Regional Business Support Center is in Dusseldorf, Germany, from where it coordinates activities in 20+ countries, as well a distributor network in Africa. This unit handles the sale, installation, servicing and modernization of elevators, escalators and moving walks. In select markets, the portfolio also includes home lifts and the service of automatic doors. In the fiscal year 2022/2023 the Business Unit had about 14,000 employees and generated sales of around 2.4 billion euros. Procurement & Supply Management (PSM) is responsible for coordinating global commodity management and the entire purchasing volume of TK Elevator Business Unit Europe Africa. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a great team and take on the following interesting tasks, among others:

  • You will take part in the management of the procurement community. This includes the requisition process, purchase order creation and follow-up of the invoice process
  • You evaluate the quality of various data from our Group companies
  • You will evaluate and validate the monthly Key-Performance-Indicator-Report
  • You support the preparation of presentations for management meetings
  • You will be responsible for the “Supplier-Relationship-Management” System as a Key User
  • Furthermore you will strongly support the Subcontractor Management activities of the local entities

  • You are studying business administration or industrial engineering
  • You have an analytical and proactive mindset
  • Teamwork oriented in a multinational environment
  • You have good knowledge of the MS Office package, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
  • You are interested in IT, direct & indirect spend categories and purchasing topics
  • You would bring in very good knowledge of written and spoken English, knowledge of a second foreign language desirable
  • A basic understanding of ERP systems (G/L account mapping) and the categorization of requirements using sourcing category codes would be desirable
  • You would be available 20 hours a week and for at least 1 year
