Your Tasks

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Asset Manager to join our team in Hilden. In this role, you'll help develop and maintain a comprehensive IT Asset Management (ITAM) strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead ITAM Implementation: Support the rollout of IT Asset Management practices using ServiceNow, aligning with business and IT goals.

· Manage Asset Lifecycle: Oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets—from acquisition and deployment to maintenance and retirement.

· Ensure Inventory Accuracy: Maintain a precise and up-to-date inventory of hardware and software assets, resolving discrepancies proactively.

· Collaborate on Procurement: Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to manage procurement, contracts, and renewals efficiently.

· Drive Compliance: Ensure all IT assets meet internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.


Your Profile

• You bring a degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• You have solid experience in IT Asset Management, especially in lifecycle management and inventory control.

• You bring hands-on experience with ServiceNow (e.g. HAM, SAM, ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog) or similar ITSM platforms.

• You have a good understanding of the ITIL framework and how to apply it in IT Asset Management.

• You bring knowledge of IT procurement and vendor management.

• You have fluent English language skills and fundamental German communication abilities.
