About the position
Dometic is a global market leader in the mobile living industry. Millions of people around the world use Dometic products in outdoor, residential, and professional applications. We are on a growth journey – now looking for a Prototype Construction & Testing Employee (m/f/d) to support our prototype construction team at Krautheim in Germany.
At our production site in Krautheim, we develop, produce and distribute high-quality windows, doors, skylights and roller blind systems for the caravan and RV industry.
Your main responsibilities
- Manufacturing prototypes, trade fair and sales samples
- Setting up and conducting tests as part of development projects
- Documenting results in test reports and measurement series
- Installing prototypes at the customer's site
- Carrying out and evaluating error analyses
- Supporting field tests and product tests

A suitable background would be the following in terms of qualifications and experiences:
·Completed training in a technical or manual field (e.g. mechanical engineer/toolmaker, technician or similar)
·Good technical understanding and manual dexterity
·Experience with test procedures
·German as native language
·Confident use of PCs
ERP knowledge is an advantage

Am Produktionsstandort Krautheim entwickeln, produzieren und vertreiben
wir hochwertige Fenster, Türen, Dachfenster und Rollosysteme für die Caravan- und Reisemobilindustrie.
Zur Unterstützung unseres Teams im Musterbau am Standort Krautheim suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt in Vollzeit eine/n
Mitarbeiter Musterbau & Versuch (m/w/d)
Ihre Aufgaben:
·Herstellung von Prototypen, Messe- und Verkaufsmustern
·Aufbau und Durchführung von Versuchen im Rahmen von Entwicklungsprojekten
·Dokumentation von Ergebnissen in Prüfberichten und Messreihen
·Prototypeneinbau beim Kunden vor Ort
·Durchführung und Auswertung von Fehleranalysen
·Unterstützung bei Feldtests und Produkttests
·Bewertung von Benchmark-Produkten
Fachliche und persönliche Anforderungen:
·Abgeschlossene Ausbildung im technischen oder handwerklichen Bereich (z.B. Mechaniker Maschinenbau/Werkzeugbau, Techniker o.ä.)
·Gutes technisches Verständnis und handwerkliches Geschick
·Erfahrung mit Versuchsabläufen
·Selbstständige, strukturierte Arbeitsweise
·Praktische Veranlagung und lösungsorientiertes Denken
·Grundkenntnisse in Englisch
·Sicherer Umgang mit dem PC
·ERP-Kenntnisse von Vorteil
