In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of the company's financial records. You will oversee all general ledger activities, prepare financial statements, and partner with cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of HGB (German GAAP) and IFRS, who thrives in a dynamic, growth‑focused environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day general ledger accounting in accordance with HGB (German GAAP) and IFRS
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages and financial statements
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with legal and tax regulations
  • Act as the point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and authorities
  • Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and internal controls
  • Support the implementation of a new SAP-based ERP-system
  • Support financial reporting and analysis


To succeed, you need

  • Completed commercial education with additional qualification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting/finance (or equivalent qualification)
  • Several years of relevant experience in general ledger accounting
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting according to HGB (German GAAP), IFRS and tax law
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., DATEV, SAP) and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and team spirit
  • Independent, structured, and reliable way of working
  • Fluent in English
