YOUR TASK

The Flight- & Cybersecurity Manager is responsible for collecting, tracking and assessing the global security/conflict zone and safety situation incl. providing information in case of situational changes to all relevant staff (senior management, flight crew, flight operations control center). In addition the Flight- & Cybersecurity Manager supports the Safety Department, with all Emergency Response and risk assessment topics and in investigations of incidents and accidents

The Flight- & Cybersecurity Manager reports to the Director Safety Management & Compliance Monitoring and is responsible for:

  • Tracking and analysing of global security and safety situation
  • Implementation and oversight of EASA Part IS
  • Performing security and safety risk assessments
  • Creating and publishing of flight security information and safety publications
  • Support in the event of incidents/accidents
  • Responsibility for incident procedure (including documentation of incidents in LEJ
  • Operational Emergency Response topics
  • Conducting training/ practical exercises
  • Track open points
  • Care/ maintenance of Crisis Control Center
  • Administration of Emergency Alerting System
  • Assume other tasks as directed by the Director Safety Management and Compliance Monitoring
  • Lead other projects

WHAT YOU BRING
  • University degree in the field of aviation and/or flight operational education (e.g. CPL/ATPL),
  • extensive knowledge of:
    • relevant operating procedures of the European Union legislation and the related regulations, requirements and procedures,
    • the operational documentation of the Airline, including familiarity with Safety Management System and the management system,
    • national, European and international legislation and regulations related to the corresponding functional area,
  • appropriate management experience in a comparable organization or function; preferably military- and security intelligence background,
  • Broad experience in Flight Security, Safety Management, Flight Operations and Emergency response,
  • Excellent knowledge in spoken English,
  • Proficient in all Microsoft office applications,
  • Excellent management, communication and problem solving skills,
  • Strong leadership skills,
  • Established operational and technical background,
  • Sound understanding of flight operations and organizational requirements for aircraft safety, security, compliance monitoring and general airline operations.
