The successful candidate may be based in Germany, the Netherlands, or Poland.
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to drive sales and introduce new product lines
- Receive guidance on managing complex customer accounts
- Ensure customer retention by working closely with site and upper management
- Partner with technical service teams for daily account management
- Develop sales strategies for a specific territory or product group with some managerial input
- Handle customer inquiries using product knowledge to ensure satisfaction
- Lead and support technical staff in account maintenance, assigning tasks and setting priorities
- Carry out additional tasks and responsibilities as needed
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in a technical field or business management preferred
- 2–3 years of progressive sales experience required; experience in specialty chemicals or polymers preferred
- Knowledge of coatings, construction, and adhesives industries is beneficial
- Fluent in English and German
- Skilled in sales principles, business strategy development, and industry-specific technical concepts
- Strong relationship-building abilities across multiple customer levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software; capable of prioritizing and assigning tasks
- Travel requirements: up to 50%
