Trading & Clearing is a division within Deutsche Börse Group and home of Xetra, Eurex, 360T, Crypto Finance as well as the European Energy Exchange. The Trading & Clearing Strategy section supports the development of the long-term organic and inorganic growth strategy from a division perspective. It maintains an ongoing business intelligence, manages organic and inorganic strategic projects, and acts as the interface to other areas within Deutsche Börse.

The Business Intelligence Team provides strategic insights across Deutsche Börse's Trading & Clearing division. By combining market intelligence, competitor monitoring, and quantitative research, the team supports senior decision-makers in navigating industry shifts, growth opportunities and political and market dynamics.

As a Business Analyst within the Business Intelligence Team, you will play a key role for the Trading & Clearing division's leadership team by by preparing internal and external briefings, speeches, and internal communications that translate complex topics into clear, actionable narratives.

  • You are responsible to prepare high-quality briefings, talking points, and speech content for Trading & Clearing senior management (e.g., for townhalls, board meetings, external events)
  • You actively contribute to draft concise, insightful reports and newsletters to communicate key market trends, performance updates, and strategic priorities to internal stakeholders
  • You will also be developing and maintaining profiles and thematic deep dives on competitors, clients, market trends, or regulatory topics to support leadership awareness and strategic decision-making
  • You are involved in setting up, managing and distributing recurring internal intelligence products (e.g., monthly reporting packs, competitor snapshots) to ensure transparency and alignment

  • You have successfully completed your university degree in Business, Economics, Political Science, Communications, or a related field
  • You have early career experience (approximately two years) in the financial industry within strategic communications, research, market insight, or an executive support role
  • You demonstrate excellent writing skills with the ability to synthesize complex topics into clear, concise content for senior audiences
  • You have a strong understanding of capital markets, financial infrastructure, or macroeconomic and regulatory trends
  • You show a high level of commitment, an independent working style, and the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively across teams and all levels of seniority
  • You are proficient in MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English; German language skills are a plus
