Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically oriented Product Manager to join our team and take ownership of one of our core product lines: infrared pyrometers and/or infrared cameras. In this role, you will be responsible for driving successful product launches, from development to market introduction, with a particular emphasis on technical documentation, content creation, technical validation, and product readiness. You will act as the interface between R&D, sales, marketing, production, and customers to ensure that new products meet the highest quality standards and market requirements.
- Lead and coordinate product launches for new infrared pyrometers or thermal cameras, ensuring timely and successful market introduction
- Work closely with R&D during product development to defi ne product specifi cations, validate technical features, and oversee internal product qualifi cation and testing processes
- Coordinate and execute product validation tests, including performance, accuracy, durability and compliance testing
- Prepare comprehensive product documentation, including technical datasheets, manuals, application notes, training materials and release notes
- Serve as the internal technical expert for assigned products, supporting sales, distributors and key customers with in-depth product knowledge
- Gather and analyze market feedback, competitor information and customer requirements to drive continuous product improvement and portfolio development
- Collaborate with Marketing to create technically accurate marketing materials, sales tools and launch packages
- Support the sales organization with product trainings, webinars and trade show presentations
- Master's in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Optical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Physics) or a related technical field
- Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills, ability to interface with technical and commercial teams
- Solid understanding of infrared thermometry, optics, metrology, or industrial measurement systems.
- Talent in creating technical documents, concepts, and technical content
- Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage
