We, as Vehicle Data Collection (RD/CUD), are currently looking for highly motivated and talented working students to join us in redefining the way we collect and work with vehicle data.

As a working student in the on-board data collection team, you will contribute towards architecting future on-board data collection solutions for the MB.OS Car Computer which integrates multiple operating systems and runtime environments (AUTOSAR Classic, QNX, AUTOSAR Adaptive, Android Automotive OS).

You will support the platform architect in the following areas:

  • Evaluating off-the-shelf solutions for data collection on Android Automotive partition
  • Integrating vehicle protocols such as VDP, SOME/IP, SOVD on QNX and Android Automotive partitions
  • Designing the architecture for distributed data collection system with agents deployed on different partitions and processing elements in the MSoC
  • Developing automated test cases and simulation environment for data collection solutions

Selected candidate can begin their role starting in August 2025.


You will be an ideal candidate if you bring at least three of the following skills:

  • A good understanding and hands-on experience with Android Framework and/or Native Services in AAOS
  • Hands-on experience with Android NDK and JNI for developing C++ based Framework components
  • Hands-on experience with Java or modern C++ (11 onwards)
  • Hands-on experience with Linux or QNX profiling tools
  • A good understanding of AUTOSAR Adaptive architecture, specifically ara::com and SOME/IP
  • Hands-on experience with Vector MICROSAR adaptive components and DaVinci Developer Adaptive toolchain

As you will be part of a multi-cultural, geographically distributed team, effective communication skills, teamwork and business-fluent English are expected from the candidate.
