Our Group Finance department in Düsseldorf is looking for an (Senior) Expert Liquidity Planning and Treasury Reporting!

Our Group Finance department in Düsseldorf is the central hub for financing and treasury activities within Uniper Group. We manage relationships with banks and capital markets and also operate an inhouse bank for our national and international subsidiaries.

What we are looking for

  • Responsibility for Treasury Reporting processes and governance
  • Preparation of reports and Power BI dashboards that leverage our wealth of data, using advanced analytics including Advanced Excel and Snowflake, and conduct user trainings on these tools
  • Support of the cash flow reporting for short, middle and long-term liquidity planning including forecasts for our collateral needs in connection with commodity trading (margining)
  • Foster the implementation of advanced analytics and predictive forecasting methods to create additional value from existing reporting data and combination of data (AI)
  • Establish efficient interfaces to relevant functions (e.g. Accounting, Exchanges & Margining, Controlling and Risk business partners)

  • Background in Finance, Business Administration, IT or similar economics and quantitative finance background
  • Professional experience ideally in a corporate Controlling or Finance environment
  • Experience in development of scalable prototypes and robust, user-oriented analytics solutions in Finance and Treasury
  • Profound understanding of Finance and Treasury topics including Group perspective on margining and associated liquidity implications
  • Knowledge of programming languages (SQL, Python); additionally, knowledge of relevant software solutions, (i.e. Wallstreet Suite (WSS), Omnifi, Tagetik Office reporting interface) is a plus
  • Proven ability to analyse and understand complex processes and use clear communication to internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly motivated with personal drive and structured, independent way of working
  • High level of social competence, reliability and integrity as well as flexibility and tolerance to stress
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
