Marketing Director Oncology (M/F/D)


As Marketing Director Oncology, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of our oncology portfolio in Germany. Your mission is to drive sustainable growth through data-driven strategies, impactful investments, and cross-functional collaboration. You will be accountable for achieving revenue targets and elevating the performance of a high-impact marketing team. This role requires a visionary leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about making a difference in patients' lives.


About the role:

Strategy

  • Driving analysis and consolidation of market feedback and important trends, customer needs in the relevant therapeutic areas and evaluation in cooperation with marketing colleagues
  • Responsible for development and implementation of relevant business strategies in coordination with x-functional teams to optimize therapeutic areas and achieve business goals and growth
  • Identification and exploitation of market-specific opportunities to increase sales and earnings
  • Close collaboration with international teams to co-develop strategies broadly


Financial and operational implementation

  • Responsible for achieving revenue goals while meeting investment budgets
  • Achievement of strategic and financial business goals in the responsible therapy area
  • Management of projects and activities as well as the day-to-day business with the respective team
  • Living the spirit of "One Pfizer" and aiming for the success of the TA Oncology as well as the entire Pfizer organization



Leadership

  • Leadership and coaching of high-performing teams, as well as further development of individual colleagues
  • Development and active management of key talents
  • Support for the continuous expansion of our corporate values (Excellence, Courage, Joy & Equity) within the team, the TA Oncology and x-functionally
  • Compliance with all internal and external laws, compliance standards and regulations


  • Extensive experience in pharmaceutical marketing, ideally in oncology or specialty care.

  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.

  • Strong change management and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Excellent communication and omnichannel marketing capabilities.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on results and innovation.

  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

  • Resilient, proactive, and energized by challenges.
