The »Audio and Media Technologies« division of the Fraunhofer IIS in Erlangen has been developing standards in audio and image technologies for over 30 years. Our division is seeking support for managing networks, computer clusters, AI systems, and demo setups for trade shows. You will act as a bridge between the centralized IT department and the researchers in our division.
- Innovative Audiovisual Worlds: You administer and configure IT systems for audio and video processing.
- Showcasing Technology: You set up demo systems with Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Storing the Future: You manage audio and video storage systems that safeguard our breakthroughs.
- Intelligent Infrastructure: You manage AI systems, compute clusters, and cloud connection infrastructure.
- Choosing the Right Tools: You identify, evaluate, and select new computing devices.
- Empowering Research: Whether it's research-specific hardware and software, workflows, specialized tools, or computing resources, you support scientists in a wide range of IT questions for research projects.
- Building the Foundation: You sustain build environments and developer platforms.
- Streamlining Development: You maintain the CI/CD infrastructure.
- A technical professional qualification such as IT system electronics technician, specialist in IT system integration, or comparable skills.
- Experience in network technologies and protocols.
- Programming skills in scripting languages.
- Fluent German and English.
- An independent working style, paired with a customer- and service-oriented approach.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to explore and learn about new topics.
