For our office in Berlin Mitte we are looking for a
Risk Manager (m/f/d)
- Risk Management: Responsible for all risk management-related activities, including providing input to audits as well as updating the framework and requirements
- Operational Risk Activities: Responsible for supporting and facilitating the ongoing operational risk activities from a 2nd LoD perspective
- Project management: Deliver and support projects (including changes), related to conduct (including Product Governance) and operational risk management
- Training and workshops: Conduct and organize relevant trainings, workshops, and awareness campaigns
- Monitoring Controls: Monitor risks, controls, test/action plans and proper registration of events in the (RCSA) system
- Business Processes: Write and review business and risk management processes
- Regulatory requirements: Continuously assess legal and regulatory changes related to conduct /product and operational risk
- Thematic Reviews: Perform or being involved in thematic reviews
- Outcome Testing: Participate and support outcome testing and procedures in Germany (DE) and the Netherlands (NL) to review and seek opportunities for improvement
- Reporting and Meetings: Responsibility for mandatory reports or meeting/committee papers (e.g., Conduct Risk Appetite Metrics)
- Automation: Ambitions to investigate automating of controls and reports with the support of available systems
- Daily Support within the team: Collaborate closely with the Senior Risk Manager(s), Conduct and Operational Risk Management
- University degree or relevant experience
- Several years of relevant work experience within a bank
- Experience in Power BI, Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint etc), Tableau
- Familiarity with the Three Lines of Defence Model
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to contribute to the increasing of risk mindset within the organisation and act as an example in this field
- Understanding of project management
- Very good presentation skills, ability to present complex information in an understandable manner
