Uniper is building a one-stop-shop technology platform for all geospatial data and applications. As a working student in the Geospatial Platform & Systems team, you will support the expansion and adoption of geospatial tools—especially ArcGIS—across the organization. This role is ideal for students passionate about geospatial technologies and renewable energy who want to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, real-world environment.
- Assist in the configuration and implementation of ArcGIS-based applications (web, desktop, mobile)
- Support the team in promoting geospatial solutions for solar and onshore wind projects across Europe
- Help onboard and guide internal users in using ArcGIS Enterprise on Kubernetes and ArcGIS Online
- Contribute to the development of training materials and documentation for non-GIS professionals
- Conduct spatial data processing, visualization, and analysis to support business needs
- Stay informed about trends like real-time data, 3D, and digital twin technologies
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Geography, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
- Basic knowledge of ArcGIS/Esri tools (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Dashboards, StoryMaps, etc.)
- Interest in renewable energy and geospatial innovation
- Familiarity with scripting (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
