ABOUT THE JOB
The Senior IT Consultant FI/CO collects, structures, and translates business requests for specific SAP modules, acting as functional owner to ensure the quality and completeness of change content. You are responsible for the coordination and steering of these efforts, which includes shaping the roadmap, driving requirements engineering, and ensuring alignment between business needs and the overall organizational strategy.
JOB DESCRIPTION
/ Gather and clarify business requirements for SAP FI/CO - Core Finance - General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Tax, Controlling and Treasury
/ Provide expertise in SAP FI/CO with a focus on US, Brazil, and European localization
/ Provide SAP US / Brazil-specific packaging and reporting configurations to meet legal and fiscal requirements
/ Conduct requirements engineering to gather and analyze business needs and translate them into SAP solutions
/ Act as a bridge between the business and the AMS team to ensure efficient and effective support
/ Coordinate and steer the roadmap to align with business needs and organizational strategy
/ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of SAP solutions with business objectives
/ University degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field
/ Proven experience in SAP FI/CO consulting, with a focus on localization for the US, Brazil, and Europe
/ Strong knowledge of tax regulations, including experience in interfacing an external tax engine with the S/4HANA
/ Proven experience in coordinating AMS teams and managing third-party service providers
/ Engineering skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
/ Agile methodologies skills
/ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
/ Excellent communication skills
/ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
