With a fleet of 287 modern container ships and a Vessel Capacity 2.2 million TEU, as well as a Container Capacity 3.2 million TEU including one of the world's largest and most modern reefer container fleets, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world's leading liner shipping companies. In the Liner Shipping segment, the Company has around 13.500 employees and 400 offices in 139 countries. Hapag-Lloyd has a container capacity of 11.9 million TEU – including one of the largest and most modern fleets of reefer containers. A total of 114 liner services worldwide ensure fast and reliable connections between more than 600 ports across the world. In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has stakes in 20 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa. The roughly 2.600 employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment deal with terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.
We are the Financial Planning Team within the Financial Analytics Department – a young, international group supporting our organization's core Controlling function through data, technology, and collaboration. In close cooperation with global stakeholders, we turn complex data into valuable insights and help shape strategic decisions.
- Support the Financial Planning Team in delivering analytical and technical solutions for core controlling
- Prepare and improve reports and dashboards using tools like Qlik Sense, Board and Power BI
- Collaborate with global teams to gather and validate business requirements
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of reporting and planning processes
- Translate complex data into actionable business recommendations
- Support automation tasks and process improvements using tools such as VBA
- You are currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's or Master's program in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, Controlling, Finance or a related field
- You are passionate about data and analytics and have a quick grasp of new topics
- You enjoy identifying insights that support data-driven decision-making
- You are curious to understand the stories behind the numbers and engage with international colleagues
- You work in a structured, analytical, and reliable way
- You are confident using MS Excel; experience with Board, Qlik Sense, Power BI, or VBA is a strong plus
- You are a strong team player and comfortable communicating in English
