We are seeking a highly skilled SAP HCM Payroll Specialist with extensive experience in German payroll processes and the ability to analyze ABAP code. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our compensation and payroll programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- SAP HCM Payroll Management: Oversee and manage payroll processes using SAP HCM, ensuring accuracy and compliance with German payroll regulations
- ABAP Code Analysis: Analyze and troubleshoot ABAP code to optimize payroll functions and resolve technical issues
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate and interpret payroll data reports, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring data integrity
- Program Implementation: Collaborate with HR and business leaders to design and implement effective payroll programs
- Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to HR and management teams on SAP HCM Payroll
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with legal requirements and stay updated on industry trends and best practices
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- Extensive experience with SAP HCM Payroll and German payroll processes
- Knowledge of basic German payroll schema and its customizing
- Experience or extensive knowledge in pension, "Langzeitkonto" is desired
- Strong technical skills in ABAP code analysis and troubleshooting
- Experience with time management is desired
- Compensation-related skills are a plus
- Experience with SAP S4 Hana upgrade of the payroll system is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to generate and interpret data reports
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders
