With a fleet of 287 modern container ships and a Vessel Capacity 2.2 million TEU, as well as a Container Capacity 3.2 million TEU including one of the world's largest and most modern reefer container fleets, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world's leading liner shipping companies. In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has stakes in 20 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa. The roughly 2.600 employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment deal with terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.
As a working student (m/f/d) in the Corporate Audit department, you will support our team with your analytical skills in the implementation of various projects. Your focus will be on data-based analysis of audit-relevant issues and the development of well-founded recommendations for action. You will get to know our Analytics team and contribute to the following tasks:
- In various use cases, you can expand your knowledge in business administration issues
- Using data-based analyses, you will support our audit team in argumentation and sustainably improve Hapag-Lloyd's processes
- You will present your findings in meaningful visualizations using QlikSense, making complex relationships easily communicable
- You will independently roll out the products you develop in our Audit Shop and ensure that your colleagues can work with your product
- With us, you will be integrated into an international team with locations in Hamburg, Dubai, Singapore, and Santiago de Chile and work independently on your projects
- You are currently pursuing a full-time degree in business administration, engineering, logistics, business informatics, or a comparable course of study
- You are willing to use more than just Excel for your analyses and are not afraid to familiarize yourself with a no-code/low-code platform or even code yourself
- You are curious, interested in processes in container logistics, and expect a steep learning curve
- You have a basic analytical competence and enjoy working with numbers and data
- Frequently changing topics and projects motivate you
- You have a passion for state-of-the-art methods/technologies
- You have very good communication skills in English (spoken and written), German is a plus
