The plant in Alzenau manufactures and offers Sputter Targets and Evaporation Material made from precious and non-precious metals, alloys and composites as well as ceramics for various high-end applications. To support our teams at our Alzenau location, we are looking for a
Finance Manager (m/f/d)

In this position, you plan, lead, and manage the Accounting and Controlling on site. You are responsible for the profit and loss account and financial statements, prepare operational results and support local management. In addition, you are responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and HGB standards.


  • Coordination and management of profit planning, sales forecasts, budgets, accounts payable and ­accounts receivable, costs and savings opportunities as well as capital investments
  • Preparation of reports on operating results for all management levels, considering Group policies and accounting procedures
  • Precious metal controlling and production controlling
  • Cost accounting, including standard costs and production order variance analysis
  • Cooperation with external and internal auditors
  • Close cooperation with local management and the US financial organization
  • Support of management and sales & marketing in all financial matters
  • Coordination, monitoring and regular updates regarding the achievement of the operational annual planning targets and the operational key figures
  • Preparation of financial statements in accordance with HGB and US-GAAP
  • Active participation in operational warehouse management including cycle counting, inventories and stock reduction measures.

  • Degree in economics with a focus on finance/controlling or comparable qualification
  • 10+ of professional experience in finance and accounting
  • People management experience
  • Familiar with the accounting standards according to HGB and US-GAAP
  • Familiar with manual and automated accounting systems and very good analytical skills
  • Knowledge of SAP (FI/CO) and MS Office
  • Experience with Sarbanes Oxley Compliance
  • Team player, solution-oriented and a structured approach to problems
  • Very good communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
