Regulatory Development being part of Derivatives Market Development at Eurex is responsible for managing the ever-increasing number of regulations impacting current business or future strategic initiatives of the derivatives exchange to achieve overall commercial success.

  • Management and coordination of Eurex responses to specific regulatory discussions, consultations and initiatives
  • Development of relevant regulatory positioning content by managing relevant input from Eurex corporate, business, or operations/IT expert areas
  • Contributing and representing Eurex positioning on relevant regulatory topics for group-wide alignment, managed by DBG regulatory affairs & strategy area
  • Support DBG regulatory affairs in outreach and advocacy towards legislative or regulatory bodies on relevant dossiers, alongside potential active integration
  • Contribution to industry association work, alongside potential active integration as Eurex representative
  • Analyze regulatory topics in regard to strategic developments, of various facets, including stakeholder developments, business models, geographical zones etc.
  • Presentation of relevant regulatory topics for information or decision making in the Eurex executive/ management boards or other committees


  • You have successfully concluded undergraduate or graduate studies in economics or business administration, with focus on derivatives, financial markets and strategy or similar degrees
  • You have at least two years of professional experience in the financial industry and preferably in the field of derivatives markets; a very good understanding of Eurex/ Deutsche Börse Group
  • You have a good knowledge of derivatives markets and regulatory frameworks impacting financial markets as a whole
  • You have very good analytical skills and familiarity with qualitative and quantitative analyses
  • You are proficient in written and spoken English, German is an asset
