Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluation of blood counts (differential, morphologies, thrombopathies, anemias, bloodparasites) via Cellavision as first-line diagnostics.
- If necessary, forwarding of highly pathological blood counts to the second line.
- Review and processing of follow-up requests or outstanding results. This involves direct communication with the relevant laboratories in Europe.
- Participation in regular internal and external round robin tests.
- Review of quality control and complaint management.
- Physical condition for standing and sitting work, even for several hours at a time
- Willingness to participate in Saturday shifts and shift work during the day (no Sunday or night shifts), possibly on public holidays.
- Must see full color spectrum
- Stable and powerful internet connection
Education and Experience
- Completed vocational training as VMTA / MTLA/ MTL/ MTV/Bachelor of Science (m/f/d) or comparable medical training.
- 2 years of experience in evaluating (abnormal) differential blood counts. Preferably already with blood counts from the veterinary field.
- Basic technical understanding, IT knowledge of common programs
- Good knowledge of German and English.
- Independent and service-oriented way of working
