We are looking for a Technical Support Assistant to join us at the earliest possible date.

The Role

Are you passionate about science, technology, and helping others succeed? Momentum Transfer seeks an enthusiastic Technical Support Assistant to join our growing team. In this flexible, part-time role, you'll support our users, streamline logistics, and ensure smooth interactions with our platform. Collaborate remotely with experts in materials science, chemistry, and software development, gaining valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic startup environment.


  • Guide users through our online platform, account setup, and general inquiries.
  • Assist with sample logistics, quotations, and order management.
  • Help out with basic accounting and marketing tasks.
  • Review measurement requests to ensure sample compatibility, safety compliance, and feasibility.
  • Communicate user feedback and technical issues to our software team.
  • Provide clear, helpful guidance on measurement capabilities and suitable materials.

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields.
  • Good foundation in materials chemistry and analytics, and preferably knowledge of X-ray powder diffraction and structural chemistry - research experience a plus
  • Excellent English communication skills, verbal and written (additional languages a plus).
  • Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and attention to detail.
  • High interest in user support and scientific collaboration
  • Solid understanding of laboratory safety and materials handling practices.
