Job Description
We are currently seeking a Head of Sales LE Central Europe (x|f|m) for our Lab Products & Services Sales team EMEA home based within Germany (Sartorius Lab Instruments GmbH & Co. KG). In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Central Europe Lab Essentials sales organization to achieve our ambitious growth and profitability targets. You will develop and execute customer-centric sales strategies, build and maintain strong customer relationships and manage a high-performing sales team. Active use of our CRM system (SFDC) is a key success factor, enabling data-driven decisions and operational excellence.
This position is available for full-time. It is a remote role requiring some days on site at our headquarters in Göttingen with the opportunity to work remotely.

Consolidate the annual sales budget and lead regular forecasting processes based on key performance indicators

Define and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue and market share growth in the region

Build, lead and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve business goals and customer satisfaction

Ensure close collaboration across internal functions to align sales execution with company strategy

Strengthen long-term customer relationships by offering value-driven solutions tailored to their needs

Represent Sartorius at key industry events, maintaining market awareness and competitor insights

Drive full and consistent use of SFDC to document sales activities and lead by example in system usage

Analyze data to derive insights, track performance, and continuously optimize sales approaches

Lead change initiatives to adapt the sales organization to evolving business requirements

You have a university degree in the field of business administration, Life Science or related field

Several years of sales experience combined with an extensive industry network and a deep understanding of industry dynamics within the Life Science industry to successfully compete in target markets

You are experienced in leading and developing international teams in a highly technical environment

Proven ability in strategic selling and C-level relationship management

Outstanding communication, negotiation and analytical skills paired with the ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers at all levels acting as trusted advisor

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends and turn them into actionable recommendations and sales targets, with proactive use of SFDC and other CRM tools to drive performance

Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and customers needs

Fluent in English and German

Willingness to travel within the D-A-CH region (up to 50%)
