Global Finance Project Manager (all genders)

Full time and permanent


  • Drive change as part of a small team dedicated to projects on the CFO agenda
  • Manage projects independently to develop innovative, automated, and digital solutions for Evotec's global Finance processes and systems
  • Develop and track project plans and maintain overview of tasks for successful project completion
  • Prepare relevant project documentation, coordinate meetings, monitor progress as well as budgets and resources
  • Coordinate project-related collaboration across related departments/functions such as IT, Legal, Procurement, Operations
  • Manage external partners contributing to projects
  • Prepare presentations for the finance leadership and management board as required
  • Develop state of the art state of the art project management standards and foster a project management culture within Finance

  • Master's degree in Business, Business Informatics, Economics or a related field and are proficient in basic finance and accounting principles
  • Extensive experience in a large international corporation or in a consultancy firm, with a focus on improving finance processes and systems
  • Strong interest in optimizing and digitalizing Finance and Controlling processes at the interface of other functional areas (e.g., IT)
  • Proven project management experience
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and drive meaningful change
  • A strong growth mindset - curious, eager to learn, and constantly seeking opportunities for improvement
  • High learning agility - fast learner, comfortable with experimentation, and receptive to feedback

Ideal qualifications:

  • International experience (work and/or residence outside Germany)
  • Work experience in SOX-compliant companies or in a Biotech/Pharma industry
  • Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and IFS
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
