Marketing Manager (m/f/x) - Alumni Partnerships
The position is full-time with a two-year contract (with a good prospect for a permanent position).
In the next years the Hasso-Plattner-Institute will significantly increase its services for the international HPI alumni network. This position will drive our marketing and customer relationship management for the alumni on our website, community portal, and social media in close collaboration with the alumni team and our communication and marketing department. We are a young and very purpose-driven partnerships team, looking for a great team player to complement our engaged our alumni management team.
- Content Strategy: Develop and implement innovative content strategies for all stakeholders of our alumni community to enhance our online presence across platforms with a strong focus on fostering the HPI alumni network
- Content Creation: Produce high-quality graphics, videos, and social media posts in our community portal and on Linkedin that foster our network and strengthen the identification of our alumni with HPI
- Website & Newsletters: Write website texts for a continuous content development for the HPI Alumni website as well as writing texts for our alumni newsletter via HPI XRM (MS Dynamics)
- Data management of alumni data in HPI XRM systems and community portal
- Community Engagement and Customer Relationship Management: Actively shape and engage with our alumni community via our „HPI Alumni and Career Portal" and online channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Alumni Portal, Instagram)
- Regular performance analyses, continuously identify potential for optimizing our marketing activities and derive new measures to ensure that the success of our alumni partnerships and our platform continuously grows
- Collaboration: Partner with other teams at HPI, such as the marketing and communications team and execute a cohesive alumni content calendar building on the HPI brand
- 5+ years' professional working experience as marketing manager & content creator or media manager, or comparable. Ideally in the area of a university or in alumni and community management
- 3+ years' experience in customer relationship management with a broad, proven experience as CRM- or XRM-manager or admin of customer databases
- 5+ years' experience in project management including content creation for newsletters and print and online publications in German and English
- Broad experience with (website) content management in Typo3 and similar tools
- Education: minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English (both fluent written and spoken)
- Social media management: Deep understanding of various social media platforms, their audiences, and best practices for engagement
- Comprehensive knowledge of (Web) Content Management systems such as Typo 3, Microsoft Dynamics and similar
- Collaboration: Strong team player with a growth mindset and excellent interpersonal skills. You have an independent and goal-oriented working style
