Job Description
As a rapidly growing group of companies (sales 650 million euros, > 120 locations, Private Equity-backed), we are the leading provider for plannable medical specialist care in fields such as orthopaedics, ophthalmology, aesthetics and dermatology in Northern and Western Europe.
Our profitable and sustainable growth in this sensitive and highly competitive market environment is based on professional competence and experience, a pronounced patient and service orientation, high process stability and economically secure leadership. At the same time, our ambitious growth strategy requires continuous development of skills, market access and organizational structures, supported by targeted M&A transactions and portfolio streamlining. In this context, we are looking for a qualified and entrepreneurial leader (m/f/d) for our dynamically growing and strategically relevant market in Germany (sales 100 million euros) as Division manager Opthalmology.
In this challenging and newly created position, you will be responsible (P+L) for the strategic development and operational management of our ophthalmology activities in Germany (currently 4 clinics, turnover 35 million euros). In the course of further ambitious growth in Germany (organic and M&A-driven), you will continuously optimise our footprint (also through precise PMI initiatives), oversee daily operations in terms of efficiency, quality of service and customer satisfaction (‘operational excellence'), and ensure the achievement of economic targets at clinic level (revenue, profitability, market share) as well as at Group level. In close cooperation with operational staff, medical specialists, doctors and the respective business leaders (‘clinic directors'), you will create identification and a performance-oriented culture, develop the organisation, employees and their skills in line with our growth strategy and quality philosophy. You will report directly to the German CEO.
You already have several years of proven success in an operational management role, preferably in a high-volume ambulatory healthcare or high-end service business with end-customer interaction, and are experienced in managing P+L. You have proven that you can successfully develop a decentralised division organically and M&A-based, establish process stability and maturity and achieve operational and financial targets. This role requires a strong execution mindset, a high level of energy, and a hands-on leadership style. You thrive in dynamic environments, manage complexity with structure, and push for continuous improvement with attention to detail and system thinking. Your strong communication skills, pragmatic approach, and ability to inspire teams contribute to building a high-performance, results-driven culture.
