  • Work closely with intrapreneurs, tech specialists, creative minds, and thought leaders across our global organization to identify, validate, and build new business ventures

  • Support the ZEISS Ventures team in scaling the internal venturing framework and portfolio across the entire innovation funnel from sourcing, validation, incubation, to acceleration

  • Actively engage with the venture community within the ZEISS Group and drive innovative ideas and methodologies to accelerate and redefine problem-solving for our clients

  • Build and maintain a strong internal network within ZEISS to provide funding and resources for relevant new business activities and foster a culture of intrapreneurship


  • Proven track record in commercial roles such as business development or venture building within medical devices, health tech, life sciences or deep tech

  • Demonstrated success in scaling businesses, launching new products, or driving market entry strategies in a startup or corporate environment

  • Exceptional leadership and influencing skills to engage and align stakeholders across large, global organizations as well as with founders and external partners

  • Strong ability to define and execute go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales approaches in complex and early stage B2B markets

  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics, regulatory landscapes, and emerging trends in health tech industries

  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or Life Sciences/Healthcare background, ideally complemented by an MBA
