Our Operational Risk Department in Düsseldorf is looking for You!

  • Support and take the lead in key processes within Operational Risk Strategy team, such as the Maintenance & Risk (M&R) budgeting process and the Operational Insurance Strategy
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Legal, and external partners to ensure that risk-related processes reflect both technical insight and strategic needs
  • Translate operational risk and market insights into planning inputs and actionable recommendations for the core processes
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support effective decision-making and alignment across departments
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and take responsibility for coordinating selected improvement initiatives, often in a cross-functional project setting
  • Participate actively in team and departmental projects, bringing your perspective while learning from others in a collaborative environment

  • A university degree in engineering, business administration, economics, or a related discipline
  • Professional experience in a structured environment, with exposure to risk, planning, or technical topics
  • Proven experience in collaborating on cross-functional projects and managing stakeholders with diverse perspectives
  • A structured and thoughtful working style, with the ability to simplify complex topics and support well-informed decision-making
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident working across functions and hierarchies in an open and constructive manner
  • Proactive, curious, and motivated to contribute to continuous improvement while expanding your own skills and responsibilities
  • Fluent in English; German or other European languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally across locations as part of your role
