  • Evaluate and underwrite global, cross line of business energy and power risks
  • Focus on power risks, with conventional, but especially renew­able power (e.g. batteries, wind, solar)
  • Analyze and assess techni­cal risk exposures, coverage needs and loss history for worldwide projects
  • Collaborate with our world­wide branches and internal stake­holders to develop tailored insurance solutions
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technolo­gies, and regula­tory changes (e.g. hHydrogen, CCS, ...)
  • Monitor and manage the perfor­mance of parts of the global energy and power portfolio
  • Support in building a cross line of business energy approach
  • Provide technical expertise and support to under­writing teams globally, sharing best practices and know­ledge

  • Preferably a Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent diplomas (e.g. in engineering or risk manage­ment)
  • High technical expertise in the area of conventional and renew­able power
  • Extensive experience in energy and power risks / technolo­gies, prefer­ably in an insurance environ­ment
  • Preferably inter­national experience in prior roles and willing­ness to travel occasionally
  • Strong analytical and technical skills to assess risk exposures, to evaluate loss potential and to take responsi­bility for under­writing decisions
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environ­ment, strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in English
