Job Description

With a fleet of 264 modern container ships and a total transport capacity of 2.0 million TEU, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world's leading liner shipping companies. In the Liner Shipping segment, the Company has around 13,500 employees and 400 offices in 135 countries. Hapag-Lloyd has a container capacity of 2.9 million TEU – including one of the largest and most modern fleets of reefer containers. A total of 113 liner services worldwide ensure fast and reliable connections between more than 600 ports across the world. In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has stakes in 20 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India, and North Africa. The roughly 2,600 employees assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment handle terminal-related activities and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations.


  • You support to shape Hapag-Lloyd's inland landscape and help to achieve ambitious volume growth targets
  • You get insights into challenging and exciting inland projects that will further enhance Hapag-Lloyd's inland product
  • You support the team on challenging ad-hoc topics
  • You get a holistic view on Hapag-Lloyd's inland product, supporting commercial, operational and project related matters
  • You help to prepare PowerPoint presentations for the management
  • You support the inland IT transformation
  • You will gain experience in exiting and challenging inland topics and work in a multinational environment on a daily basis

  • You are currently studying full-time in one of the following fields: Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, Transport or a comparable field
  • You have excellent analytical skills
  • You are well experienced in using MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • You can communicate well in English (both written and verbal)
  • You have gained first working experiences (through internship or similar) in the fields of transport, logistics or shipping
  • You have a hands on mentality and you enjoy taking new challenges
