For our location in Göllnitz we are looking for a
Stress Engineer (f/m/d)
at the earliest possible date.
- Development of design proposals (material selection, manufacturing process, geometry)
- Static verification of ATA21 components (composite/metal), including the creation of FE models
- Assessment and approval of ATA21 design (3D/2D)
- Assessment and approval of deviations (DQN and concession process)
- Stress-related documentation
- Planning and support of engineering tests to validate calculation approaches and to determine material characteristics
- Technical support for component qualification
- Engineering degree with specialization in the verification of lightweight designs (mechanical/aerospace engineering)
- Design and verification of composites/metal components
- FE simulation:
- Nonlinear deformation, strength and contact analysis
- Vibration (natural frequency, random vibration, shock)
- Composites after initial fracture, bonding
- Optimization of component design (weight, stiffness)
- Composite manufacturing processes
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- PATRAN/NASTRAN (very good knowledge)
- MS Office, MS Outlook
- TAKSY, Doc-Master, PRIMES, VPM
