For our location in Göllnitz we are looking for a

Stress Engineer (f/m/d)

at the earliest possible date.


  • Development of design proposals (material selection, manufacturing process, geometry)
  • Static verification of ATA21 components (composite/metal), including the creation of FE models
  • Assessment and approval of ATA21 design (3D/2D)
  • Assessment and approval of deviations (DQN and concession process)
  • Stress-related documentation
  • Planning and support of engineering tests to validate calculation approaches and to determine material characteristics
  • Technical support for component qualification

  • Engineering degree with specialization in the verification of lightweight designs (mechanical/aerospace engineering)
  • Design and verification of composites/metal components
  • FE simulation:
    • Nonlinear deformation, strength and contact analysis
    • Vibration (natural frequency, random vibration, shock)
    • Composites after initial fracture, bonding
  • Optimization of component design (weight, stiffness)
  • Composite manufacturing processes
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • PATRAN/NASTRAN (very good knowledge)
  • MS Office, MS Outlook
  • TAKSY, Doc-Master, PRIMES, VPM
