  • You will be responsible for Heraeus Conamic`s inno­vation activities in the field of ceramics and novel composites.
  • This covers the cutting-edge develop­ment of new Materials and products in the business line Semi­conductor.
  • You lead, motivate, develop, and challenge the R&D team to achieve tech­nical and strategic goals.
  • You foster a data-driven mind­set to guide decision-making and project prioriti­zation.
  • You monitor the effective­ness of R&D activities and contribute actively to strategic planning and project portfolio manage­ment.
  • You communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stake­holders to ensure alignment and support for R&D initiatives.
  • In this role, you will join our Global Inno­vation Team and report to the Global Head of Innovation.

  • Successfully completed advanced degree in materials science, ceramic engineering, physics, or chemistry (PhD strongly preferred)
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a leading position in innovation with line manage­ment and budget respon­sibility
  • Good knowledge of process tech­nology and properties of ceramic material
  • Strong communication skills in English & German with the ability to interact at all levels of functions in the organization
  • Experience in setting strategic direction and driving project pipe­lines
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential
  • High degree of entrepreneurial thinking and acting, mental agility and willing­ness to travel
