The Technical Project Manager – HiL (m/f/d) is responsible for implementing and delivering hardware-in-the-loop solutions for the automotive industry. S/he will be responsible for the implementation and delivery process from the purchase order to the final delivery to the customer. S/he will also be part of the quoting process supporting the sales team with technical expertise.

  • Be responsible for HiL deliverables from a technical standpoint
  • Lead HiL delivery team including project management
  • Supervise assembly, integration and installation
  • Work with procurement and help to identify suppliers and integration partners

Details of Function:

  • Take responsibility of HiL deliveries once the project has been awarded
  • Make sure project timeline is respected
  • Work with procurement to support buying process of components
  • Communicate with the customer during the entire development of the project
  • Be responsible for both factory and site acceptance tests, assuring a high level of customer satisfaction

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, MS or PhD degree is a plus
  • 3+ years' experience with automotive hardware-in-the-loop applications
  • 3+ years' experience with automotive bus systems (CAN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, etc.)
  • Knowledge of dSPACE, Vector, NI, Beckhoff or other HiL systems
  • Familiar with automotive standards like ISO 26262
  • Experience in project management
  • General market overview concerning major HiL solutions
  • Experience working with teams delivering engineering solutions, products, and services to clients
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills in English language, German is a plus
  • Able to work in dynamic environments and situations.
