We are looking for a passionate new colleague to join and support our IT team in Frankfurt as a

Technical Business Analyst - System Integrator (f/m/d)

As a Technical Business Analyst in our corporate and investment banking division, you will play a crucial role between IT and various business lines. Your primary responsibility will be to bridge the gap between complex IT systems and business requirements, ensuring seamless communication, understanding, and execution of technology solutions that align with our business goals. Be open to future facing technologies and how to integrate them in our IT environment.


  • Understand and translate business needs into detailed technical requirements
  • Create comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Track project progress and provide regular updates to all stakeholders
  • Perform data analysis, create pivot tables and merge data from various sources to support decision-making processes
  • Create test plans and ensure that solutions meet quality standards
  • Provide training and support to business users on existing and new systems and processes
  • Prepare user guides, FAQs and documentation
  • Understand IT infrastructure, including systems related to DNS, DHCP, VPN, Active Directory and network
  • Work in an exciting environment with remote experts and teams for controls and team collaboration
  • Interact closely with IT teams from Singapore, France and UK on deliverables, enhancements, incidents, requests and projects

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field

Experience: Around 3-5 years' experience, ideally in the financial industry as business analyst in close relationship or within an IT department

Competencies:

  • Understanding of banking and financial processes has merit
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in creating detailed reports
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

IT-Knowledge:

  • Very good skills in Microsoft Office & Business Objects
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools
  • Visual Basic .NET & Microsoft SQL competencies including Powershell is advantageous
  • Knowledge in payment systems as well as of concepts of IT infrastructures are desirable

Languages: Fluent in English and German; French would be a plus (but not mandatory)
