Your New Team- At a Glance

The Financial Controlling team consists of 24 colleagues located across Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, and Italy. Our primary tasks are financial reporting to the group as well as local authorities for our 600 companies. Moreover, we participate in the process of buying, selling, and creating new companies. You will be part of an engaged and motivated finance department with approx. 85 colleagues in total and you will get plenty of opportunity to develop personally and professionally. We work closely together with Accounting and Group Controlling, and we also have many stakeholders across the organization, including Project Development and Asset Management.

Your New Role

As our new Financial Controller, you will be entrusted with your own portfolio of German companies and get the full responsibility of handling several regular and ad-hoc assignments, including controlling, reporting, coordination with external service providers, and sales due diligence processes. You will moreover act as sparring partner for our Project Development teams and assist them in the process of creating new companies.

Areas of Responsibilities

  • You have controlling responsibility for your portfolio of companies.
  • You handle reporting and consolidation of financial statements (quarterly and annually), following IFRS on group level and local GAAP for subsidiaries.
  • You compose annual accounts, tax statements, and audit documentation.
  • You have ongoing contact with service providers and external stakeholders.
  • You participate in making budgets, project accounts, sales statements, etc.
  • You are involved in optimization of processes and procedures.
  • You are supporting sales due diligence processes.

Your Profile

  • You have a theoretical educational background within Finance.
  • Several years of experience from a similar role or from auditing.
  • You have experience with IFRS and local GAAP.
  • You have knowledge of Navision/Business Central and are good with Excel.
  • You are fully proficient in German and English
